Swearing In

This is it. I'm back at the Garden City Hotel - no television this time but I talked to the Chinese owners and connected with them - now, every time I'm back, I will get a room with a TV. I guess it does help being Asian. This week before the swearing-in on Thursday we have our final site presentations and group reports. I hope to start searching for a place to live for the next two years. I can hardly wait - it's been a challenge to live out of a suitcase since May and moving from place to place; to have no control or choice of my food and meals, even though I've enjoyed the cultural exposure to the food fare of Belizeans; and to have my very own space with the freedom to do whatever I want.
